Where can I find music without lyrics?

Question by sylvie: Where can I find music without lyrics?
My final project for modern dance class is to choreograph a dance using music without any lyrics. It can be new age, jazz, intrumental, classical, etc. As long as it’s not popular, top 40-type songs. It’s due this Thursday and I still haven’t even chosen a song, please help!

Look up “Vitamin String Quartet” on YouTube or iTunes. They’re a strings group that covers popular music, but it’s completely instrumental. You said that the song can’t be popular/top 40 music, but what if you got a cover of a popular song? Like “I Write Sins Not Tragedies”: (starts around the 15 second mark): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8EZzV0IbqA
They really have the BEST dance music, especially for modern. Some other good titles: “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “Mr. Brightside,” “Yellow”, and “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Good luck!
